The next generation of dog daycare

Woof! Play & Stay moves beyond traditional dog daycare by offering a range of activities designed to enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our VIP guests. When your furry friend participates in a Fitness or VIP activity, she or he gets a break from the pack and receives personal one-on-one attention from a trained Activities Director. How cool is that? Activities include Woof! Workouts, Agility Training, Obedience Training, K-9 Mind Games, Stretching Sessions, Training Walks, Dog Jogs, Park Treks and Toy Time.

Doggie Daycare in Seattle Washington

Instead of having your pets lounge around the house, make sure they can get the exercise and attention they need during the day. At Woof! Play & Stay, we serve as much more than a kennel— we offer personalized daily care while you are away at work or play. Our doggie daycare in Seattle, WA, ensures your dogs are well looked-after. From providing food, exercise, interaction with other dogs, and one-on-one attention from our handlers, you don't have to worry about your pets ever getting bored.

Reduce Your Pet's Boredom at Our Doggy Daycare

A bored pet is a destructive pet. But at our doggy daycare, we make sure pets get the exercise they need to be on their best behavior when they get home. Leaving a dog in the house all day while you are gone creates a lot of anxiety. Not only are they sitting around just waiting for you to come home, they might be doing things that annoy you- or even cost you- like eating your wardrobe. You know, your shoes, belts, socks and whatever else they can get their teeth on. Bored urban dogs have also been known to eat city apartments, or at least chew on parts of them, like doors, furniture, walls, floors- you name it. So not cool to lose that huge security deposit.

At our pet daycare, dogs are the stars of the show. They get tons of interaction and an outlet for all of their energy. They have plenty of toys to chew on, ropes to pull, and balls to fetch.

Dog Daycare & Boarding That Promotes Socialization

One of the main reasons pet owners may traditionally shy away from boarding facilities is that their dogs aren't very socialized there—they don't get to play with other dogs. But that's where our canine daycare comes in with our boarding packages. We provide a safe, controlled environment for your pooch that allows him or her to have supervised interactions with other dogs. We are always there in case a situation gets too heated, and are ready to step in and make sure the dogs aren't overly stimulated or frightened.

Is Doggy Daycare Right for My Dog?

Awesome for some dogs…. not a good
idea for others

Dog daycare can be an amazing experience for dogs with a compatible temperament. Moreover, it can offer lot of sweet benefits- for both dogs and their human owners. It provides dogs with boredom relief, a healthy outlet for pent-up energy, exercise, socialization and constructive interaction with humans. Busy human dog owners enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing their dog is well cared for while they are away at work or play.Dog daycare can certainly provide relief from some of the many stresses that naturally come with urban dog ownership.

Not all dogs, however, are good candidates for the doggy daycare scene. Some dogs simply don’t enjoy interacting with other dogs. Others may be too timid, fearful, or consistently exhibit behaviors that are not compatible with responsible off-leash group play. This does not, by any means, mean that they are “bad” dogs. It simply means daycare is not a good idea for them. Fortunately, there are other beneficial options for these dogs and their human owners, including Homecare from Woof!

At Woof! Play & Stay we screen all potential resort guests with a Temperament Check. This gives us a pretty good idea of whether or not the dog is a good candidate for doggy daycare, but is by no means definitive. That’s why we carefully monitor new dogs as they interact with the pack for the first time. Our top priority is the safety, health, comfort and fun of all dogs entrusted to our care. Should it become apparent that off-leash group play isn’t working for a particular VIP guest, we separate them from the pack and provide individualized care. Depending upon the situation, this could be a short “time out” or for the rest of the day.

After one or more daycare sessions, it may be determined that the dog is not a good fit with Woof! Resort Playcare. Should this be the case we will likely be able to offer the owner Homecare as an alternative and apply the appropriate credit.
